NEW MUSIC

Let’s have a look at UK music scene 🙂

Coldplay new EP Kaleidoscope release is promoted by song Miracles (Someone Special)  and it seems the perfect time to extend the successful ‘A Head Full Of Dreams’ era. The song sounds like a classic from the British group. And for an era that is going to an end after amazing record sales, sold out tour and streaming achievements and recognitions for Coldplay let’s switch to Arcade Fire ‘fresh’ era. ‘Everything Now’ set to be released July 28 has been promoted so far by four tracks. The last one is ‘Electric Blue’. All singles have their own identity and points to an eclectic mix in the album. Arcade Fire project is marked by interesting artwork and marketing strategy by Columbia Records.

Next stop is an easy listening moment confected by London group Kinobe that hosts participation of Richard Hale. ‘Thought It Was You’ gives the title to the four track EP released with the song. Emerging Childhood ‘Nothing Ever Seems Right’ falls under pop – easy listening genre. It flows without leaving big traces but we also need nice songs that play this function:)

1999 born singer HRVY ‘Holiday’ is the next track selected for New Music Friday Playlist. 1.2 million Instagram followers caught Universal attention though the song is nothing more than a dance teen pop track with summer vibe. Single will be followed by release of EP July 25. We at SNDTLK are interested on how this digital phenomenon will be nurtured. From HRVY to BONZAI ‘I Feel Alright’ definitely a more urban and mature song produced by Mura Masa and well outcome is  really cool. Apparently the two have a mutual good influence considering also Mura Masa ‘Nuggets’.
